I’m having a Baby!
January 21st, 2008 by murlocWhen we adopted our cats Sgt. Pepper and Lucy in The Sky with Diamonds from Precious Paws (My Last Blog is about them) in 2006, we didn’t adopt their sister. Chris insisted we adopt another cat. I knew that the cat didn’t like us. I could feel that it wouldn’t work. However, Chris whined that I got to pick two, and he could pick one. I couldn’t argue. I have felt guilt about not keeping their family together ever since. Turns out the cat Chris picked was completely wild. She attacked me in my sleep, pissed on everything in our house, and never grew!
We ended up having to return her, and found out shortly later she died of liver failure. Obviously something was very wrong with her. Shortly afterwards I begged my husband to adopt our cats sister. He declined. There was always an excuse. After hearing how I blogged about Precious Paws, and how Georgyne needs help for her non profit animal rescue…He finally relented. Poor Sgt. Pepper and Lucy in the Sky’s sister has not been adopted. Now, at almost 3 years old, she is finally going to come home to us!
